Initial circulation: green lines
Time: “Mall” day
Basic points of attraction: Stadium Mall+center of public transports

The points of attraction were transformed into fields of attraction, according to how much they

attract visitors in a usual day, when the stadium functions mainly as a shopping mall.

The basic traffic lines remain the same. However, a part of them is attracted by the stadium.

There is not a great change in the basic circlation routes a usual day because there is not a

high concentration of crowd along the area of the stadium.

The average height was mapped between 3 and 15 metres. A script was created to calculate the height of 1462 surrounding buildings of the site.

for($x=1; $x<1463; $x++){
$name = “nurbsToPoly” + $x; //se kathe arithmo x antistoixei kai ena poly plane//
select -r $name;
int $g = rand(3, 15); // random noumera ipsous ktiriou apo 1 orofo mexri kai 5//
string $extrude[] = polyExtrudeFacet ($name) ;
setAttr ($extrude[0] + “.localTranslate”) -type double3 0 0 $g;
}

The site is located in N. Philadelpheia, where the stadium “Nikos Goumas” used to be until it was demolished in 2003. The surrounding environment is entirely residential with small shops in almost every buildings ground floor. The average height of the buildings around the site is from 3 to 15 metres, a moderate urban scale. Sites of importance, urban transortation and main traffic roads are highlighted in the plans above, in an effort to map the characteristics and the elements of the area along the site.
These values will be analyzed and be processed, for an urban renewal and a new fottball stadium in the area.
